As an art form, or a text type, where would we put the "stream of consciousness"? I mean this in a language context, I mean - specifically writing, such as free-flow journal entries, or spoken word poetry. Is it an artform? Is the regurgitation of the essential self a form of art? I would say yes, personally. But is art art without an audience, and what audience wants to read or listen to the existential masturbation of another person?
